Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce gets new CEO
The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce has a new president and CEO — Evelyn Clark.
“I am very excited to join the Chamber during this time of transition,” said Clark. “I am passionate about community engagement and strategic planning.”
Clark has worked in community economic development and the non-profit sector on Vancouver Island for years. Prior to that, Clark was the senior project manager for the Rural Economic Diversification Initiative, a province-wide project that helped diversify rural communities through innovative projects.
She said her mission this year is to established strong working relationships with members and community stakeholders and the chamber will focus on increasing membership and the chamber’s success and future sustainability.
