Donations wanted for Team Fantastic
Team Fantastic, which is entered in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer, will be holding a fundraising event Sunday, Feb. 19 at Parksville Thrifty Foods from 1 to 3 p.m.
Spokesperson Roxanne Adams said there are three members on their team and they will be spinning on their road bikes in front of the store hoping for donations.
On Thursday March 8, they will hold a burger and beer fundraiser at the Frontiersman Pub in Coombs. The two day cycling journey from Vancouver to Seattle which takes place on June 16 and 17 is a fundraiser for the BC Cancer foundation.
