Museum golf event June 23

Dinosaurs may have been extinct for 65 million years, but they still need some help — and the Qualicum Beach Museum is offering Oceanside golfers the opportunity to do so.
The museum’s annual golf tournament, dubbed Putt for Paleo, takes place Sat., June 23 at the Arrowsmith Golf Course. Funds raised go towards building a new wing to house Graham Beard’s fossil collection.
Museum assistant manager Leona Matte said the event promises to be great.
However, more golfers are needed.
Registration forms can be downloaded from the website at www.qbmuseum.net, or picked up at the museum.
