Seeking a young man

Echo Players is looking for some young blood.

A romantic comedy called Be my Baby will be performed at the Village Theatre in Qualicum Beach beginning in February next year, but director Eillen Butts needs a young man to complete the cast.

The play will already feature five strong actors from the area including Rosalee Sullivan and Alistair McVey, but Butts needs a male roughly between the ages of 20-29.

“It’s a chance to be involved in community theatre, have a great time, meet some wonderful people and share some great laughs.”

While some experience is preferred it isn’t absolutely necessary, Butts said. The role is not huge but an important one in the play, she explained.
