Art gallery opening in Coombs

Thea Kovach has been painting since she can remember and she is opening up a gallery this weekend, from April 18 to 21, at her residence at 949 Coombs Rd.

The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kovach took Graphic Design at Emily Carr College of Art and Design, and she is now an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Today Kovach manages her own small farm in Coombs where she paints in watercolour. She likes to recreate her impressions of the mountainous, remote and rugged places she’s seen.
