Helping a family

LISSA ALEXANDER

A recent garage sale held by homeless advocate Patricia Plunkett was successful and combined proceeds from that and her recent homeless dance total $4,900.

That money is all being donated to help the homeless and less fortunate in this area.

But Plunkett is not stopping there.

She is currently raising money online for a family in great need of a home in Zambia, she said, a mother and her two teenage daughters.

Plunkett said any donation, even $1 would be greatly appreciated. Visit www.youcaring.com/other/-zambian-family-in-need/218200 to read the story and get more information.
