Inclusion Parksville greatly benefited from the Career Centre’s recently established Bladerunners program which provided a big boost to the society recently, with three days of volunteer work that enhanced the Inclusion building and grounds.

Bladerunners offers youth life skills and job readiness training in Parksville. A group of 10 youth, led by board president Duane Round and backed by the sponsorship of Boston Pizza, tended to some much-needed maintenance at Inclusion Parksville.

The youth cleaned the mossy roof, power washed the parking lot, cleaned up many overgrown bushes, painted parking stalls, and cleaned up a significant amount of unsightly graffiti. All of the work was completed in three days.

Inclusion Parksville is appreciative of the amazing group of hard working individuals that were friendly, diligent and eager to work each day.
