North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre to release eagle back into wild April 6

The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre will release a rehabilitated eagle back to the wild on April 6.

The release will take place at 2 p.m. at the centre, located at 1240 Lefler Rd. in Errington. It will take place rain or shine.

Those wishing to attend the annual event must purchase advance tickets online. This is the last week to purchase tickets for the event.

Tickets will not be sold at the door. Annual and free passes will also not be valid on that day.

As parking is limited, the NIWRC advise the public to carpool.
