Spring Fling aids Parksville Forward House

Parksville service agency hosts dinner, dance Saturday in Errington

Forward House is turning to some good, old-fashioned fun to raise some money this weekend.

The social services support centre will host a Spring Fling dinner and dance Saturday, April 22, at the Errington War Memorial Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6 p.m., and dancing to live music from Eddie &The Funk will follow.

In a written release, Forward House promised “No speeches, no auctions, no alcohol — just a night of good food, good friends and dancing!”

Proceeds from the Spring Fling will go toward recreation programs to support people with mental health and addiction challenges.

Tickets are $35 and are available at Forward House, 136. E. Hirst Ave. in Parksville.
