A free, community information session about dance careers, professional development and opportunities for young, emerging artists is happening at the Sid Williams Theatre next Thursday.

The session is being held by the North Island Festival of Performing Arts (NIFPA) which is currently in full swing, and will feature Andrea Gunnlaugson who runs free seminars and conferences through Dancers Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) in Vancouver for dancers in all stages of their career.

The community chat will take place on Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
