Studio tour treasures
Take in the talent of local Nanoose Bay artists this weekend with a self-guided studio tour. Behold recycled steel sculptures, functional pottery, hand-crafted wooden bowls, funky garden art, Tsimshian Native jewelry and original paintings and etchings, among other incredible treasures.
The tour takes residents throughout the Nanoose Bay countryside at their own pace.
The Nanoose Bay Studio Tour happens this weekend, May 14 and 15.
Eighteen studios will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a map can be picked up at Tourist Information Centres in Nanaimo, Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Visit www.nanoosebaystudiotour.com to see the artists involved and find out more information.
