Swing down to the Shady Rest Waterfront Pub Jan.12 for a mixture of music set to get people on their feet.

“We play everything from A to Z, from AC/DC to ZZ Top, with some reggae and country thrown in the mix,” said vocalist and guitar player with local group, the Enablers.

The group has been together for about five years playing around the central Island. Every band member is a seasoned musician, Weldon said, and he has been playing guitar himself for about 35 years.

The Enablers can play pretty much every genre of music so they just “play the crowd,” Weldon explained, aiming to get people up and dancing.

The four member band will play at the Shady Rest Pub in Qualicum Beach from 7 to 11 p.m. this Saturday, Jan 12. For more on the Shady Rest call 250-752-9111or visit www.shadyrest.ca.
