Beach Flicks wraps up its film season with the hit comedy drama Le WeekEnd on Friday, April 11 at Eaglecrest Golf Course.

The film tells the story of a long-married middle-class British couple who attempt to reinvigorate their marriage by visiting Paris for the first time since their honeymoon.

The audience will enjoy stunning images of Paris and will be drawn into the characters Meg (Lindsay Duncan) and Nick (Jim Broadbent) as they dance through the realities of their 30-year marriage.

While exploring the magnificent city of light, they run into Morgan old friend played by Jeff Goldblum.

Goldblum really knows how to get the fires burning and becomes the catalyst to help Broadbent and Duncan recapture their youthful fearlessness, lack of responsibility, and idealism.

“It’s going to be a fun way to wind up the season,” said Karen Roberts of Beach Flicks. “We would like to thank all the sponsors and supporters that make it possible for us to provide quality films and entertainment for our community.”

Doors of the Eaglecrest Golf Course open at 5:30 p.m. and the film begins at 7 p.m. sharp.

Tickets are $6.For more information visit www.beachflicks.ca
