Arrowsmith Little Big Band plays Jazz at the MAC

A local jazz quintet will bring the McMillan Arts Centre to life this Friday with an evening of swingin’ music.

The Arrowsmith Little Big Band will take the stage at the Parksville Centre for the Jazz at the MAC series.

Gary Hodi and Colin Campbell will be leading the group which plays a variety of musical styles including Latin, swing, bop and blues.

The veteran musicians have performed around the area and impress crowds with their unique blend of vocals, horns and guitars.

The show begins at 7 p.m. on April 11. Tickets are $15, $12 for Oceanside Community Arts Council members. The centre is located at 133 McMillan Street in Parksville. For more information visit the website www.mcmillanartscentre.com or call 250-248-8185.
