Celtic and Quebecois at Acoustic

A vibrant four-piece ensemble from Squamish will perform at Qualicum Beach’s last Acoustic Cafe of the season May 2.

The Jocelyn Pettit Band plays a variety of music including Celtic and Quebecois tunes. Jocelyn Pettit, a fiddler, stepdancer and singer, has been described by European FolkWorld Magazine as “a top-notch musician, and major emerging talent."

Known as a Celtic sensation around B.C., Petit composes her own music, as well as forms creative arrangements in the Celtic and Canadian traditions.

She will lead her band at the Rotary House in Qualicum Beach May 2, following the open stage act. Tickets are $5 available at the Vintage Candy Shop in Qualicum Beach. The Rotary House is located at 211 Fern Rd. West.
