Will Ross is an up-and-coming musician from southern Ontario and he’s playing at the McMillan Arts Centre this Friday, May 16.

Ross has developed an unique sound that spans the musical spectrum.

He is the former lead singer of ska band The Jolly Rogers and has toured with The Flatliners, IllScarlett, Catch 22, and The Planet Smashers.

He’s spent years entertaining audiences and has made the stage his home. Ross has recently released a four-song EP entitled Over the Counter Culture.

Ross’ songs are said to make people dance as well as think. His politically charged lyrics reflect a passionate concern for the world that he chooses to express through music. The show on Friday at the McMillan Arts Centre (the MAC) is part of the MACoustic Folk Club series.

The first half of the evening is open stage and Ross will play the second half. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $15, $10 for OCAC members at the door.
