Celtic Chaos performing

Celebrate all things Celtic and in particular, St. Patrick, with Celtic Chaos this weekend.

Celtic Chaos will be at the Rocking Horse Pub (2038 Sanders Rd., Nanoose Bay) on March 16 at 8 p.m., playing traditional Irish music.

There will be an Irish food menu with dinner starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be pre-purchased by phone (call 250-468-1735) or at the pub.

Celtic Chaos will also be at the British Bobby (3-1209 E. Island Hwy., Parksville on March 22 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 with reservations only. For more information, call 250-954-3232.

Artist trading Cards meeting at the MAC

The Mid-Island Trading Cards at the McMillan Arts Centre (133 McMillan St., Parksville) is this Saturday.

On March 18, from 1-3 p.m., people can bring in their 2.5-inch by 3.5-inch trading cards or just drop in and see what it’s all about. The swap begins at 1:00 pm followed by a demo with a Celtic theme by Joyce Burns, and time for creative play.

The Mid-Island Artist Trading Cards is a free drop-in and free membership.
