The sun came out after all that snow and it brought out crowds of people at our local beaches and parks.
I went to Rathtrevor and turned around before entering the parking lot. I can’t believe how many people risked damaging their vehicles by entering the worst-kept parking lot I’ve ever seen.
This is not a recent deterioration either but has got a lot worse lately. This is a provincial park… spending a lot of money on expanding their campsites when they really need to invest in taking better care of the park they already have.
This is one of my favourite beaches and it’s really sad to see the parking lot left so neglected and so uninviting for any visitors who want to see our famously beautiful Rathtrevor Beach.
