The Oceanside Concert Band returns for its annual spring concert in Parskville on April 21.
The concert starts at 2:30 p.m. at Knox United Church (345 Pym St.).
The 35-member band, under the direction of Dr. Paul Rathke, has been entertaining audiences in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area for 50 years, according to a news release.
“Come hear some great music and support your local musicians,” the release said.
Proceeds from the concert will be used to support music programs locally.

Special guests the Ballenas Secondary School senior band will also perform, conducted by Brent Kellas.
Tickets will be available only at the door: $20 for adults and $5 for students.
