School District 69 has a new assistant secretary-treasurer

School District 69 (Qualicum) has a new assistant secretary-treasurer. Graham Roberts took the same job in Nanaimo and Tracee Carey has been promoted to the job in Parksville.

Carey has been an employee of the district since 2000, most recently as the finance clerk providing support for the assistant secretary-treasurer. The new roll is an expansion of duties and a natural, organizational evolution, according to district officials.

In addition to her abilities, the district benefits from Carey’s knowledge and experience with the district’s accounting and payroll systems, as well as her understanding of the organization and culture.
