Garage sale for Japan disaster relief runs April 1 to 3

The Passion for Compassion project group will be holding The Great Canadian Community Garage Sale at Wembley Mall April 1 to 3.

All funds will go to the Japanese relief efforts of respected charities like the Red Cross and Care Canada.

They are also challenging other communities to join or do the same.

People interested in donating should contact Scarlette Lexington, do not drop items off at the mall.

Anyone interested in helping or donating can reach Lexington at 250-586-6454 or passionforcompassion@live.ca.
