Officers won't be charged

Victoria Police have concluded two Nanaimo RCMP members accused of assault will not face charges.

The alleged assault happened at a home in Cedar where police were sent to deal with a man who was distraught and possibly suicidal. An altercation broke out between the officers and the two residents, a woman, 53, and a man, 20, who were arrested at the time of the incident.
