Although he was hurt, a pedestrian in the 200 block of Highway 19A did not require hospital treatment Wednesday. Oceanside RCMP Sergeant Darrell Robertson said the man was treated by ambulance staff and released after being hit by a vehicle. Robertson said the driver of the vehicle was charged with driving without due care and attention as a result of the incident.
