Bus garage buy boosted
Town council agreed unanimously to spend $1 million from its land reserve fund to pay for the acquisition of the school bus garage property at Fern Road and Memorial Avenue.
As well, financial administrator John Marsh noted two properties, worth $400,000 in all, have been sold to help pay for the site, with two more on the block and expected to be sold in late 2011 or early 2012.
