Chamber lauds town's village planning

QUALICUM BEACH — The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce has applauded the Town of Qualicum Beach council and staff in a media releaseb Monday, for engaging the business community, developers and residents through a series of meetings to address the Village Neighbourhood Planning Project.

“We believe the Village Neighbourhood Planning Project correctly identifies and will contribute to addressing the challenges being faced locally during the current economic times,” stated the Chamber in the release.

“The approach supports the vision of a stronger village neighbourhood, which will result in a more vibrant downtown, prosperous economy, stronger community, improve amenities for residents, and increase housing diversity within the downtown core.”
