Coombs issues centenary stamps

Coombs is a century old and residents can mark the occasion by ordering Coombs commemorative postage stamps.

These centennial, collector’s item stamps can be used for all postage requirements and will be Canada Post first-class stamps perpetually. The stamps are being offered to encourage greater community connection and participation in the celebrations marking Coombs’ 100 years as a community.

A sheet of 40 stamps is $37 and a sheet of 20 is $18.50. People can pick up order forms at the Coombs Museum or the Coombs General Store Post Office, both open daily. Forms can also be emailed out and then mailed in with cheques made out to Coombs Fair: Box 195, Coombs, V0R 1M0.

E-mail sharoncg@shaw.ca for a form. For more information call Sharon at 250-248-6655.
