Peckford and White BC Conservative team

QUALICUM BEACH — Two Oceanside political veterans have been named as key members of the BC Conservative election team.

Parksville’s Randy White and Qualicum Beach’s Brian Peckford were named by party president John Cummins as co-chairs of a newly-created issues management committee.

White was previously a British Columbia Member of Parliament for the Reform Party, as well as caucus chairman and House leader, while Brian Peckford was formerly the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.

“I am thrilled that Randy and Brian — who between them held senior public office for 30 years — have agreed to play important roles on our campaign team,” Cummins said. “Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable in electing a conservative government next May.”
