Youth arrested on suspicion of vandalism

The Oceanside RCMP is making progress in their battle to deal with a rash of grafitti tagging in the Parksville downtown core.

Corporal Jesse Foreman said police have made an arrest of a minor in relation to the recent acts of vandalism. However, he couldn’t provide details because of the age of the suspect involved.

However, Foreman said police are still actively working on the case.

Anyone with information about vandalism incidents is asked to contact the Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111.
