One rushed to hospital in fender bender
One person was rushed to hospital Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision on Alberni Highway.
Central Island Traffic Services Constable Blake Manchur said the crash took place in the early afternoon at the intersection of Despard and Highway 4A, resulting in one person being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The crash, he said, is believed to have been caused by one of the drivers running a red light and charges are being considered.
