New look for Forward House
Friends and staff of Forward House in Parksville gathered to unveil the new sign they recently installed to mark their location.
The sign was a long-time plan and fundraising effort of Carol Richardson, the long time executive director of the mental health and addictions recovery facility before she died in December.
Her husband and new executive director Gerard Klomp said it was important to see the project through in her absence and he thanked Earl Scott and his team at Scott Signs for their support as well as mayor Chris Burger for the city's ongoing support.
