VALENTINE’S SERENADE: It was 25 years ago Feb. 14 that Thrifty Foods general manager Doug Riederer proposed to his wife Kim and on Thursday he surprised her at the Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Quality Inn Bayside with a visit from the Tidesmen Barber Shop quartet.
