Middle school talent displayed

Local students filled Wembley Mall with their science experiments and investigations last weekend, with 167 projects and over 300 students.

Students from elementary grades were all winners (evaluated anecdotally) and middle school students were ranked according to numerical scores. The results were as follows:

Grade 6: First place: Erin  Plank  "Colour = Taste", Second place: Libby Elliott, Third Place (a tie): Jodie Lekx and Taylyn Squire.

Grade 7: First place:     Willow Cabral  "Popcorn", Second Place (a tie): Olivia Davis and Berit Danneberg; and Amanda Greenshields and Allie Proctor. Third place: Ashley Holland.

Grade 8: First place: Alex Shaw "Wipe Those Tears Away", Second Place (three-way tie): Kyra Blyt and Brianna Leachman; Noah Elliott and Erica Friesen; and Jesse Lacroix. Third place: Jasmin Ford and Hannah Peters.
