Cut-A-Thon to raise money for Bowser Family

The Bowser community is pulling together to help a family through a difficult time.

A Cut-A-Thon fundraiser is happening at Crops n’ Bobbers hair salon in Bowser this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and all proceeds will support Gonda Lekx and her children. Gonda, a Bowser resident and local stylist, has recently lost her husband.

The event is taking place at Crops ’n Bobbers Hair Studio in Magnolia Court, at #113-6996 Island Hwy. in Bowser. The Cut-A-Thon is being hosted by Crops ’n Bobbers owner Linda Hall and Dolina Winger of Surfside Hair in Bowser.

Call 778-424-9200 to make an appointment for Sunday, or drop in.

The Bean Counter in Magnolia Court will also donate all the proceeds from coffees sold that day to the Lekx family.

Drop in to Crops ’n Bobbers this week and buy tickets for a gift basket with hair products and hair tools, and the draw will de done at the end of the day on Sunday.

The Union Bay Credit Union also has an account set up in the Lekx Family name for donations.
