Toy run seeks approval

PARKSVILLE — The Society of Organized Services has an application in to run the 25th annul SOS Bikers Toy Run on Sept. 21.

The request to hold the event between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. using city streets and the picnic shelter in Community Park was put before Parksville city council’s committee of the whole on Monday for deliberation.

Staff recommended the event be approved. Council’s decision was not available before press deadline.
