Parksville mayoral candidates: Paul Reitsma

PARKSVILLE — Paul Reitsma is running for the mayor's chair in the City of Parksville.

Reitsma is a former Parksville mayor and councilor in Port Alberni. During his time as a BC Liberal MLA in the late 1990s, it was discovered he wrote letters to the editor to local papers in false names. For that and more, he faced a recall campaign and was forced to resign from politics in 1998. Now, he's making a comeback.

The News interviews Reitsma as part of its ongoing series of videos of local mayoral candidates in the 2011 civic election.
