The Qualicum Beach Residents’ Association is hosing an information session for the Official Community Plan on Saturday, Oct 21.

The session is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. It will focus on governance, housing, and development.

According to a QBRA news release, the activities of the association are done “in the spirit of helping residents stay informed and involved in town management.”

The meeting on Saturday will also include the QBRA’s annual general meeting. The QBRA is also asking people to join or rejoin, adding without support the QBRA cannot function.

The QBRA, which was formed 46 years ago, was established “to represent all residents of the town and make specific recommendations to council as warranted.”
