The Town of Qualicum Beach is holding two open houses Thursday, Feb. 15, on the proposed plastic bag ban.

The two open houses will be held from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the town hall council chambers (660 Primrose St.).

Council is considering implementing a ban on single-use plastic bags when paying at stores.

The town staff and council wants to hear what residents and business owners think a plastic bag ban should look like.

There is also a survey for the public. It can be found at https://tinyurl.com/qb-bags.
