Ali passed away
peacefully in Williams Lake, B.C. on the 20th of November. She was born in Steenwijkerwold, Overijsel in the
Netherlands. Having immigrated to Canada in 1954 she and her
husband Jan lived in Winnipeg, Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach. She is well remembered as the friendly face
behind the counter at The Craft Shop on
First Ave. in Qualicum Beach. Ali is predeceased by her husband Jan
(Nov 8, 2008) and her second child John
(Sep 26, 2008). Survived by her children Bill (Bonnie) of Qualicum Beach, Gerry (Kelly) of Salmon Arm and Nell (Bill) of Williams Lake and her many grand-children. Ali is coming back to her home in Qualicum Beach to rest beside her husband and son at the Qualicum Beach Municipal
Cemetery. Ali will be missed and lovingly remembered by her
family and many friends
