Withington, Alan - Qualicum Beach.We are saddened to announce the passing of Al Withington, June 18, 1992 at Nanaimo General Hospital. Al moved from Manchester, England in 1965 and worked for Air Canada until retiring in 1992. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne Sinnott; daughters, Belinda Tsumura (Howard), Cheryl Snell (Stephen); half brother David Plumer in England; grandchildren Michaela and Jonah. Predeceased by wife Regina and daughter Allison. Many extended family members, friends and ’snowbirds’ will miss his helpfulness and humor.
A Celebration of Al’s Life will be held at Knox United Church, 345 Pym St., Parksville, BC June 21, 2002 at 2:00 pm
In lieu of flowers, District 69 Hospice Society or Nanaimo Palliative Care will gratefully receive donations in his memory.
