VASS, Alice (Foreman)

April 19th, 1926 to October 3rd, 2007.
On the evening of October 3rd, Alice Vass passed away peacfully in the Palliative Care Unit of Nanaimo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Toronto, Ontario and resident of Parksville, British Columbia for 9 years. Predeceased by her husband Frederick, survived by sons Gary (wife Linda) of Parksville and Bruce (wife Doris) of Ontario. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Michelle, Dallas, Frederick, Wyatt, Luke, David and April. As well as 2 great grandchildren, ?Arrianne and Noah (Ontario).
Alice was a member of the Newcomers and Coronation Street Clubs. Her many wonderful supportive friends will miss her lively spirit, wit, and friendship. Alice loved all of you!
A special thank you to Ada and Al for helping with rides to the hospital and to Klara for meals and support. Also, a thank you to all of her friends for food, flowers, and tons of good wishes and support. Thank you to all of the Palliative Care Unit staff at Nanaimo General Hospital and Dr. Larry McClure for the excellent care ?given. It was Alice’s request that no service be held in her memory.
