YULE, Alice Olive

April 23, 1911 - September 25, 2005

Devoted wife for 68 years of Kenneth L. Yule, Q.C. who survives her. Beloved also by her sons Kenneth and Donald, daughters-in-law Jennifer and

Susan, and grandchildren David (wife Heather),

Carolyn, Alison and Joanna. Alice was born in Manitou,

Manitoba to Orville and Annie Wagner, and predeceased in 1985 by her brother Leslie Wagner. A graduate of Kitsilano High School in

1927, she lived her adult life in Vancouver, a gracious and gentle lady making a

loving home. She and Ken enjoyed retirement in Qualicum Beach for over 25 years, and latterly the caring comfort of Little Mountain Manor, Parksville. She was a faithful member of St. Phillips Church in Vancouver and St. Marks in Qualicum. A woman of sharp mind and many talents and interests, she enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles, read avidly and was always up to date with current events. Her needlepoint and handwork will be treasured. Her interest in and loving support for her family will always be remembered.


A celebration of Alice’s life will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, 138 Hoylake Road West (at Memorial Ave.), Qualicum Beach on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon or the St. Marks Church would be appreciated.
