STIRZAKER, Alice Rosina (Rose)

June 16, 1919 - June 25, 2005

Our Mum “Rose” passed away in Trillium Lodge, Parksville a few days after she celebrated her 86th birthday with family and friends, She is predeceased by her husband Richard Gordon Stirzaker in 1979. She is survived by her brother, Bill Hucul of Parksville, her daughter

Linda (Martin) Ullman of Port Alberni, Nora (Barrie) Garlick of Parksville. Her granddaughter Greta Christiansen of Parksville, grandsons Nick Ullman of Mission Veijo, California, Richard Ullman of Whistler BC and great grandson Toby Ullman in California.

Mum was born in England, came to Toronto as a baby and moved to Port Alberni at age three. She spent most of her life there before moving to Parksville almost four years ago. Mum was a wonderful gardener and a great cook. Her gardens were a showpiece and she was

forever clipping out new recipes and trying them out on whoever happened by.

We Wish to thank Dr. Brad Bell for all his devotion to Mum and the staff at Trillium Lodge - you are all angels. Mum was also cared for

by our dear friend Brenda; to her, we are truly thankful.

There will be no service for Mum as that was her wish. Donations in memory of Rose Stirzaker can be made to Trillium Gardens 401 S. Moillet St, Parksville BC, V9P 2G9.
