HARTSHORN, Amy Mary (nee O'Hanlon) Of Parksville, B.C., born March 28, 1914 in Kingston, Ontario and passed away peacefully in Parksville on April 9, 2004. Predeceased by her husbands Fred Hawkes 1950 and Warren Hartshorn 1980. She will be lovingly missed by her sons Jim (Joanne) Hawkes, Bob (Judy) Hawkes, Reg (Donna) Hawkes, Rod (Lisa) Hawkes, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She resided at Emerald Estates and belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mass will be celebrated at
the Catholic Church of Ascension, 887 Wembley, Parksville, B.C., Saturday, April 17 at 1:30 p.m., and interment will be at the Queen's Park Cemetery in Calgary, AB - date to be announced. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in memory of Amy to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Alberni Valley and District Branch, Box 1047, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 7L9.
