Sadly, Art passed away peacefully after a short illness. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and his large group of friends.
Predeceased by his brother Norman (1960), mother Marion (1976), brother Mike (2007) and father Cliff (2009). He is survived by his wife Carol, son Mike, daughter Jenny and his grandson and best buddy Ryder. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters and brothers, Carol-Ann; Brian (Jan); Patrick (Vickie); Linda (Darcy); Ginny (Mario); Jo-Anne (Darcy); sisters-in-law, Anne (Michael); Sue and Kim and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as a kind and fun loving person with a great sense of humor.
Carol appreciates the kindness, support and offers of help that the community has given to her and her family. A special thank you to Dr. Wagenaar, Suzanne and Delores for taking such good care of Art and the family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made, in Art’s memory, to a charity of your choice.
