McEWEN, Arthur “Art”
Passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Hospital on November 3, 2002 at the age of 83 years.
He was born in Bristol, England and immigrated to Canada in 1952 - initially to Edmonton and than to Qualicum Beach in 1981. Predeceased by his wife Betty in 1998, he will lovingly be remembered by his son Ian (Ev), daughters Aileen and Sheila (John), grandchildren Derek, Amy and Geoffrey, and many relatives in England.
Many thanks to Dr. McIntyre for his care over the years, the TLC ward at Nanaimo Hospital and especially all the wonderful home care staff in the Qualicum Beach/Parksville area who were truly caring and enabled Dad to remain in his own home until very recently.
A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen’s United Church, Qualicum Beach, Friday, November 8, 2002, at 1:00 p.m.
