Pardiac, August Clifford

April 30, 1928 ~ February 24, 2008.

Born in Mildred, Saskatchewan, Gus lived most of his life at Deep Bay, BC. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Predeceased by his parents Adam and Rose Pardiac, brother Bert, sister Irene, nephew Ron and brother-in-law Walter.

Gus is survived by his loving wife Patricia (married June 14, 1949), his sons Cliff (Val), Rick (Ruby) and daughter Debbie (Don) MacLean, grandsons Don, Gary, Mike, Jason, and Jeff, great grandchildren Jake, Sara, Adam, and Jonathon, sister Leona, twin brothers Roy (Janet), Don (Bonnie) sister in law Christine, Auntie Mary and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gus happily graduated grade 5 from Deep Bay School. He began his long career at an early age as a fisherman, logger and boat builder. Gus always had a mega project on the go and work was always his hobby.

Gus and Pat enjoyed many years together with family and friends. They travelled in Canada and abroad and spent 16 years as snowbirds wintering in Yuma, Arizona.

No service by request. Gus will be laid to rest at a private family ceremony in Cumberland, BC, on April 30, 2008.
