Passed away on May 12, 2002 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at the age of 87 years. She was born on June 29, 1914 at Edrans, Manitoba, to Bert and Ethel (White) Seamans. Predeceased by husbands Jack Sparrow in 1964 and Clarence Oldford in 1986, her mother and father and brothers Tom and Charlie. She is survived by sister, Naomi Sparrow, nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Interment was made at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens beside her husband John, with a private committal service. She will be sadly missed. A special thank you to staff at Arrowsmith Lodge where she resided for the past 31/2 years. Also the staff on fifth floor of N.R.G.H., the staff at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens and First Memorial Funeral Services.
