PRIMEAU, Blanche Marie (nee Poirier) Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, October 5, 1912 Passed away peacefully on June 6, 2002 in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at the age of 89Blanche will be sadly missed by Lucien, her husband of 65 years; her daughters Lucille, Carmen and May; her grandchildren: Jack, Tim, Denise, Michele, Renee and Stuart; her sister Estelle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to convey a special thanks to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital ER staff for their compassion and care.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 15, 2002 at 1:00 pm at the Notre Dame Parish, 4731 Burke Road, Port Alberni. Interment will take place in Alberni Valley Memorial Park followed by a tea at Notre Dame Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Blanche may be made to the Canadian Heart Fund.
