Passed away after a lengthy illness in Victoria Royal Jubilee Hospital October 6, 2010.
Predeceased by his Mother and Father Hazel and Dave McMillan, Mother and Father-in-Law Majorie and Al Ward, 2 sisters Coreen and Irene, 2 brothers Chuck and Crobie McMillan, Aunt Mabel, first wife Irene, and daughter Debbie Lewis.
Survived by his Loving Wife of 40 years - Jeanne, brother Mike Moore, Children, Verna (Kim) Miller, Kevin (Cindy) Dutton, Barrie (Rhonda) McMillan and 6 Grand Children.
Ron Served in the Canadian Merchant Navy and worked for Blackball Ferries, Straits Towing, Rivtow Straits, BC Ferries and DND Nanoose Base, where he retired in 1994 as Senior Master.
A Celebration of Life will be held at
Nanoose Evangelical Free Church,
2462 Nanoose Rd.
Nanoose Bay, BC
on Saturday October 23 at 1pm
