ANDERSON, Charles (Chuck) Wesley
June 10, 1930 - July 21, 2007?After a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in a farmhouse and raised in Rimby, Alberta, Chuck was one of seven children. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Survived by his love of sixteen years Jeannette (Vadnais); son Don Anderson (Michelle), son Ken (Glynis) Anderson, daughter Terri (Paul) Goundan, son Jim Anderson (Janelle). Grandchildren Jamie and Donnie Anderson, Riley and Eilish Anderson and Bryce, Deanna and Melissa Goundan. Brother Al Anderson, sister Audrey Whitesell. Extended family: Dave (Nan) Vadnais, Gord (Lil) Vadnais, Sheila Meredith, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Last but not least his best buddy and 4-legged sidekick - Elmo.
Chuck will forever be remembered as living his life on his own terms. He spent over 50 years of his life in the sheet metal and heating business in and around Port Alberni. He enjoyed meeting people, hearing their stories and sharing a good (and bad) joke. An avid garage sailer, he loved the thrill of a good bargain. He loved an early morning coffee on the beach, and a good old b.s. session with friends and family. No one told stories like Chuck.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 11, 2007 ?from 1-4pm at 1048 Price Road, Errington, BC.?Memorial donations to your local SPCA?would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
